Meaning ‘boutique chef’ or ‘head of the grocery’ in Arabic, Ras el Hanout is so called because it refers to the flagship product of Arabic groceries. It can be made up of 19 to more than 50 spices, so it takes a lot of work and experience to achieve a perfect blend of flavours. As a result, there are dozens and dozens of Ras el Hanout recipes, each with their own well-kept secrets.

Seasoning for oriental dishes.
Ingredients: coriander, turmeric, cumin, caraway, hot chilli pepper, salt (0.72%), fenugreek, fennel, garlic, blend of various spices.
